Day After Thanksgiving

Oh hey there! Happy day after Thanksgiving!

Sunday/Monday I ended up visiting Scott on the rig, which was nice. And to add to that nice-ness, Scott's parents and sister came out on Monday as well to bring some Thanksgiving dinner leftovers - yay! It was good to see them again, and it was also most delicious ;)
The only thing better than one Thanksgiving dinner is two :D
It was worth having those two food comas...

Although I did miss the little fuzz balls while I was gone...

I made sure I snuggled them up real good when I got home :)

Do you remember my last incident with no contacts in the shower? Well a similar thing happened at the rig...

Again, no contacts and I was washing my face. I managed to get through the washing part just fine, and then it was time to moisturize... I grabbed what I thought was Scott's moisturizer and slathered it all over my face. After it was on, it didn't take long to realize that it definitely was not moisturizer...it was after shave... -.-

In my defence, the containers looked very similar...

Well, it was a fun weekend, although I didn't get as much done as I wanted to...but things happen sometimes. 

Today it's back to yoga and then to school. Let's go day!

Early Thanksgiving!

Oh, hey there!

How was YOUR weekend?

I tried to get lots done and to get ahead on things because Scott came home on Sunday and he'll be around until Friday - YAY!

Then on Sunday, we headed into Strathmore for one of these guys...

Just as delightfully cute and chocolately delicious as last year. 

(It's a turkey made of chocolate - duh...)

And then we got the full (real) turkey feast. (Yes, it's a week early...I was excited). 

It was fantastic. 

I was full. 

After a couple hours, dessert was served! Apple pie, and pumpkin cheesecake pie. What?!

Yes...so good. 

After all this, I was stuffed to the brim and almost to the stage of food coma.
So... standard Thanksgiving practise ;)

Oh! One more thing, my sweet little Subie (Subaru, yes) had its 1000 (km) birthday!

Getting old! Still loving it!
(Not the crack though... :<)

Happy October!

Jeez... It's October.
I love October!
With October comes my birthday and also Nani's. Speaking of which, Happy Birthday Nani! :D

Another thing I used to love...Halloween! Getting dressed up, and then running around collecting all the free candy!
Hey, Trudy's like their candy sometimes...

So I don't know if you've noticed, but it's getting pretty Fall-y out there!
Trees are starting to look naked, the air is getting cooler and the heated seats in my vehicle are definitely getting lots of useage! ;3

I'm actually not even minding the Fall - it's nice to get cozied up sometimes! Though I will say, it's generally nicer to be cozied up at home ;)

What I'm not looking forward to, is slippery roads. That's just no fun at all...
But it's coming people! It'll be here before we know it. D;

Ring any bells??

Once a year, Tim Hortons has Smile Cookies (chocolate chunk) for $1. 100% of the profit goes toward local charities, hospitals and programs. Yay!

And let's be serious...they're simply just soft, chewy and delicious (not to mention they have a big old smile on there)!

Sometimes I wish all my food smiled at me. 

Come on now, they can't get it perfect every time. I mean, there was a chocolate chunk in the way...

Besides, what it lacked in appearance was made up for in deliciousness. ;)

We only have until the 29th...and I don't think it's so hard to do, in fact they're quite tasty.

So go! 

Do your part! 

Eat cookies!

(Maybe do some squats or crunches after??)

And for goodness sakes, bring me one. 

They make for a happy Trudy ;)
