Once a year, Tim Hortons has Smile Cookies (chocolate chunk) for $1. 100% of the profit goes toward local charities, hospitals and programs. Yay!

And let's be serious...they're simply just soft, chewy and delicious (not to mention they have a big old smile on there)!

Sometimes I wish all my food smiled at me. 

Come on now, they can't get it perfect every time. I mean, there was a chocolate chunk in the way...

Besides, what it lacked in appearance was made up for in deliciousness. ;)

We only have until the 29th...and I don't think it's so hard to do, in fact they're quite tasty.

So go! 

Do your part! 

Eat cookies!

(Maybe do some squats or crunches after??)

No contacts in the shower?

What happens when a Trudy isn't wearing contacts in the shower?

She grabs (and uses) conditioner first....on the day she was using the expensive stuff too!

Then, somehow, she manages to get a bunch of face wash in her eyes. That burns.
Why doesn't this happen when the contacts are in?
Is she just more cautious with them in?

*sigh*

Does this ever happen to you?
Or is it just me...?

Showering can be difficult when you're partially blind....

Superstition?

Are you superstitious??

Happy Friday the 13th!

I'm not superstitious at all...so today has been just dandy. Luckily no black cats crossed my path ;)
Bruce isn't entirely black...y'know?

Lately I've been up to...

...school! Lots to do! It's going to be busy for sure...

I'm really enjoying it though!
There's only about 30 people in my program...and we get to stay together for every class and I think it's nice.
We're getting to know each other pretty well and, for the most part, it's quite fun!

There are a couple of people that annoy me...but I'd say that's pretty normal.

So far so good!

My health related classes are really interesting...communications as well! (Though I've pretty well already taken communications, so it's more of a refresher).
Anatomy, I've also already taken...but it's a definitely necessary refresher. I feel as though I'm just learning everything from scratch! So much to memorize! *.*

Lots of reading to be done!

The chosen one!

As most of you know, I've been looking at and test driving some vehicles to find my new snazzy car (well...vehicle, not necessarily car).

And the moment has arrived. Yes, I have chosen!

And I got to pick it up last night ^^

When I picked it up, it only had 11 km on it. Seems so crazy to me!

This is where I was sitting at today...

I've driven basically any old vehicle  my whole life, so it's very exciting to have my own (with Scott) brand new vehicle!

As I drove away from the dealership, I was scared...

What if someone crashes into my beautiful new car?!

It's so perfect right now!

When it came down to making a decision, they're all beautiful cars. I looked into safety ratings and reviews and in the end, Subaru was just my favourite! It had better visibility than most of the others, pretty reliable reviews, and good safety ratings. 

Plus, I just love it!

So if you can recall my last post, I'm taking a journey and going back to school!

I don't officially start until this upcoming week, but I had one class this week.

I was feeling a little skeptical...

But overall, it went alright! 

I got my campus card, I bought my small mound of textbooks and I went to my one class. It was all relatively pain free - besides my shoulder after hauling all those books back to the truck. *.*

I even got Scott's truck all shined up!

It was a fairly long process.....so many dead bugs from the few visits I made to see Scott!

All pretty now though :)
